Duane and Monica Hayes

Duane Hayes is the youngest of 5 children.  While he was born in California, he grew up and lived in Mesa, Arizona most of his life. He knew of his need for a savior at the age of 15 and even though he was raised in the Pentecostal church, many questions remained unanswered.

In 1989 he met the love of his life, Monica, and they were married in December of 1990. Through many years they have raised two beautiful daughters and now have five wonderful grandchildren. Through all Duane’s unanswered questions one bible verse kept gnawing at him:

Matthew 7: 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

His love of eschatology (the study of the end times) kept him digging into the scriptures. Around 2012 he felt a hunger for something. ABBA began revealing The Feasts of YHWH and the ideas found in the Torah, instead of the traditions and holidays of men. It was through ALL of Scripture that the questions were answered, and Matthew 7 no longer haunted him.

In 2020 Duane and Monica heard the Call of YAH and moved to Missouri. After a lonely first year they found Natzarim Yahshua Family Fellowship, and The Walker’s.
